The completion of the hotel development is a significant milestone in Mingara’s story. The vision of the hotel on the Tumbi Umbi site, has been on the club’s master plan for over 25 years. This
project is significant in positioning Mingara as the greatest lifestyle destination on the Central Coast, which supports our commitment ‘to make a significant contribution to the quality of
community life’.
The $24M project commenced in August 2023, Mingara Leisure Group Chief Executive Officer, Paul Barnett, said, “The project vision was to create a vibrant and welcome retreat for guests
visiting our community and the broader Central Coast surrounds.”
“For many years the Central Coast has needed additional quality hotel accommodation and we are excited to be the first new hotel built from the ground up on the Central Coast in decades.
The opening of our new hotel makes a significant contribution to the Central Coast region, and will support economic and tourism development here on the Coast”, Mr Barnett said.
Beautifully designed by Marchese Partners Architects and Interior Design, North Sydney, the hotel is a contemporary Australian style informed by the natural surrounds of the Central Coast.
From breath-taking bushland to the idyllic swimming spots and golden sand of our beaches, whilst complementing and acknowledging the immediate architectural context of the hotel’s
exterior and Mingara Recreation Club.
