Mingara Aquatics is the best indoor aquatic facility on the Central Coast. More than just a swim centre, the Mingara Aquatics centre is a leisure facility for the entire Central Coast community; teaching learn to swim, coaching squad, aqua fitness classes, community lap swimming, school holiday aquatic activities, hydrotherapy and more.

Monday to Friday | 5am to 12pm and 3pm to 7pm
Saturdays | 8am to 3pm
Sunday | 8am to 12pm
Please note that we are closed Good Friday and Christmas Day.
Yes! We accept Active Kids Vouchers at Mingara Aquatics.
Mingara Aquatics accepts the $100 Active Kids Voucher. They can be used for our Learn to Swim and Squad Program. Not sure how to apply for an Active Kids Voucher? Please click here to find out more.
How to use your Active Kids Voucher
- The Active Kids voucher cannot be used to pay arrears owing on a families’ account. If there are outstanding fees on an account
the arrears need to be paid prior to the voucher being accepted - If a voucher is presented and a credit of $100.00 is applied on a family account we are unable to refund voucher credit if the
child stops swimming or cancels their booking - We are not able to accept a voucher that has already been redeemed (been used) at another sporting organisation. If
presented with an invalid voucher the $100.00 credit will be voided and fees will become outstanding on the account - Vouchers must be redeemed in full
Learn to Swim
Learning to swim is a skill for life. All instructors at Mingara Aquatics are AustSwim qualified.
How do we sign up for Learn to Swim?
Signing up for Learn to Swim is easy. To make sure we place your child in the correct class we first need to do an assessment (unless you baby is starting out for the first time).

The Mingara Aquatics Learn to Swim program continues through school holidays. There is a 6-week break over the Christmas/New Year period, however we continue classes throughout the rest of year.
Do you offer adult lessons?
It is never too late to Learn to Swim. Our instructors have experience in teaching people of all ages to Learn to Swim. Enquire today – phone 43497821.
Does my child need an aqua nappy?
Yes, if your child is 2 and under, or you have a child that is not toilet trained then you are required to use an aqua nappy. Run out of swim nappies? For your convenience, they are available for you to purchase at reception.
Is it time for your kids to join a squad?
Our squad sessions are run by qualified coaches and offer an opportunity to work on technique and increase fitness and you have the option to work on competitive swimming skills too. To join our squad you simply give us a call on 4349 7821 to book an assessment.
There is Squad for adults too!
Do you sell towels
We’ve all been there – rushing out the door with everything you need for swimming only to get to the pool and find you have forgotten your towel! We have towels for purchase for only $10 at reception.
What is the Mingara Aquatic swim club?
Mingara Aquatics hosts a swim club fortnightly on a Friday, racing commences at 6:30pm, pool entry is $3 per swimmer and parental supervision is required for swimmers 14yrs and under.

Can I use your Hydrotherapy Pool?
Hydrotherapy is the perfect way to work on injury rehabilitation, loosen up stiff and sore joints and stay mobile in Yes. However, there are certain times that the pool has restricted access. You can see the hydro schedule here.
Do you have food or drink available?
Yes, visit our Wellness Café for a delicious assortment of food and drink and barista made coffee. Perfect for early morning starts. The menu is full of breaky wraps, smoothies, fresh juices, protein balls, banana bread and more. you can even grab some house-baked The Roasted Berry bread to take home with you.

What concession cards do you accept?
Age, disability, veteran and companion/carer (please note the paying concession holder must be in attendance for the carer to receive concession entry).

What if my Direct Debit falls on a public holiday?
If your Direct Debit for Learn to Swim or Squad is scheduled to be processed on a public holiday, the funds will come out of your account on the following business banking day.
